Young Love. That's what I was thinking while shooting the engagement session of this sweet young couple head over heels for each other. Their chemistry, their empathy, their vibe was unmistakable. These two were in love, and it made my job so easy. We shot on a nice warm afternoon this past fall at the Historic Yates Mil Park in Raleigh, NC and in a local field at sunset.
I was lucky enough to catch this couples' eye when they were looking for a wedding photographer in Raleigh. This sophisticated and modern couple knew what they wanted in their wedding and engagement photography, and I was humbled that they trusted me with that vision. Our first adventure together was their engagement session at the JC Raulston Arborteum at NC State University in Raleigh, NC. They really made this look easy. Honestly, one of the most photogenic couples I've had the pleasure of working with. We had a great time making some great portraits.
I'll say it again, doing good work is the best marketing, and a referral is a testament to that. I met Karen through a referral from a past wedding I did in Raleigh at Brier Creek Country Club. I was happy to be hired for an engagement session before the wedding. It's the best way to break the ice with my clients and start to build a friendship and trust before the wedding. When she told me they were NC State Alumni and that they met at Lonerider Brewery, I was excited at the possibilities! (and to know that the session would probably end with beer...)
